Love Is All You Need

We don’t typically do wedding invitations – we usually leave those up to our friends at Wedding Paper Divas (pssst…they are currently having a sale, and they have free wedding websites for the bride and groom!).  However, when my dear friend, Patrick, and his fiance, Beth, asked me to do invites for their upcoming wedding, how could I say no?!?

I am so happy for these two, and I couldn’t have been more honored to be included in the wedding process.  My husband and I are truly sad that we will not be able to make it to the wedding – a wedding that will surely be filled with joyfull tears, love and laughter.

CONGRATS PATRICK AND BETH!  We love you and miss you, and we hope your day is everything you dreamed it would be, and more!

Please note: some wedding info edited or removed for privacy purposes.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles

I was asked to create more ribbon designs for ETC Ribbons and More. This time they want boy themed designs, and here is what I’ve come up with so far. What triceratops do you like better? I can’t decide. Planes, trains and sailboats are next. I must say, I’m having so much fun with my new Wacom Tablet!

Special Gift

I’m a little delayed in posting this, but I finally got around to taking pictures of these AWESOME mittens that I got for Christmas.  My Mom had a family friend - the very talented Bobbie Taylor - make these for me.  Not only are they soft and comfortable, warm and adorable, but they are also unique to me.  Can you tell why?  Look closely.  See my Bella Blu logo on one mitten, and my initials on the other?  What a great idea!!!  I can’t thank my Mom and Bobbie enough for making these for me.

Want your own custom mittens?  Head over to Taylor’d Creations on Etsy.  I will also try to remember to repost these once the holidays come around again next year.  What a great gift idea for family and friends!

Ribbon Designs

Last year, I was asked to design a logo and website for a wholesale company in California called ETC Ribbons and More.  I was very excited about the opportunity and had a lot of fun working with everyone at ETC Ribbons.  Shortly after I designed the website/logo, they came back to me and asked if I would create various designs for children’s hair accessories – mainly ribbons.  The ribbons are now available for sale on ETC’s website!  One catch, they are a wholesaler, and only sell to retailers, craft art and boutique stores.

To view the ribbons, go to http://www.etcribbonsandmore.com/, click on “Just Browse” at the bottom of the page, and then click on “Printed” under Products/Ribbons.

Pinterest

For those of you who follow me on Pinterest (my new favorite addiction), I apologize for all of the mason jar images lately, but I just bought a case of mason jars, and I have to figure out what to do with them!  We are going to use some for lighting in our kitchen, but I will have plenty left over to use for decorating, organizing, etc.  Below are some fun ideas.  Click on the images to learn how to create these ideas for yourself, or to see more uses for mason jars.
